We're sorry to see you go. If you wish to delete your Ithaka account, please follow the steps below. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Delete from the App
- Open the Ithaka app on your device
- Go to your Profile
- Tap on Options or Settings
- Select "Delete Account Permanently"
- Confirm your decision when prompted
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately.
Option 2: Contact Support
If you need assistance or have specific concerns about your data, you can request account deletion by emailing our support team:

Please include your registered email address or username in your request. We will process your request within 7 business days.
What Data is Deleted
When you delete your Ithaka account, the following data is permanently deleted:
- Your profile information (username, display name, email address)
- All your published posts and written content
- All your drafts and unpublished content
- Your account settings and preferences
- Your follower and following relationships
Data Retention
Some information may be retained for a limited period after account deletion:
- Backup data: May be retained in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being permanently removed
- Legal compliance: Certain records may be retained as required by law (e.g., transaction records, abuse reports) for the legally mandated retention period
- Anonymized analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage data that cannot identify you may be retained for service improvement
Once the retention period expires, all remaining data is permanently deleted from our systems.
⚠️ Important Notice
- • Account deletion is permanent and irreversible
- • You will lose access to all your content and cannot recover it
- • If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account
- • You can create a new account with the same email after deletion
